Letter from Paul... Coco has been busy and produced. At the moment it is like stoking a boiler; as much as we give her she will eat. She doesn’t get any bigger but the kittens are quite robust. Their eyes are open and movement is becoming co-ordinated It won’t be long before they are eating their own food, as well as using Coco. We have another mom and kittens coming in from Llanfyllin and a waiting list of vulnerable cats & kittens. We would prefer to take moms when she is pregnant, rather than people waiting for the kittens to arrive and then the whole family disappears from view. After offering slots to concerned onlookers we are then kept hanging on, until they can’t be found. It is much easier & safer to catch one rotund cat than a hiss & spit defender of a litter of hidden, hungry, defenceless fluff balls. Once the little varmints have been taught to be quiet and avoided human contact the problem has just grown many fold. |

About us...
An association of like minded people was formed in January 2002 by a small group of committed cat lovers. This resulted in a proper registered Charity in March 2003. Montgomeryshire Cat Rescue was born. The group has developed and evolved over the years into an experienced and skilled compassionate group of volunteers. The more we see the more we realise we have only scratched the surface.
We are dependent on donations and grant applications which enable us to continue our work. The support of the public never fails to amaze us. From generous cash donations to moral and physical support, through to skills of fabrication to inspired ideas. This web site being an important window to the world.
If you have a loving and safe home to offer one of our Cats or Kittens please click here. Else please consider a donation to help continue our work on behalf of homeless Cats & Kittens.
